The dev is very good about updates and trying to adapt new games as they come out and there’s also a pretty good forum for getting help and suggestions on the site. Overall I’d say the track record is pretty good and I’ve already more than received my money worth. Also issues with crashing or just freezing up at times or the game window losing focus (like if you alt tabbed out of it) and on top of all that the Direct VR scan often does not work (this is an optional feature in some supported games that improves the head tracking.) Also some weird audio issues. Also had issues with only half the pip boy screen appearing, though I think that’s better now. There was an issue where when you access a computer or something that changes your perspective the character falls through the floor. I tested out Cyberpunk and it worked but I have been playing it using Virtual Desktop in regular/flat mode because I don’t want to miss out on the graphics. I just bought Elder Scrolls Oblivion which seems like it will work well as well. I’ve played a little of Fallout New Vegas and it seems to run well. I’ve played through: Fallout 3 Bioshock 1 and Infinite Outer Worlds Prey (2017) and had pretty solid experiences with each. The graphics will generally not be as good, but it’s worth it to me for the head tracking. I’ve had mostly good experiences with Vorpx playing mostly older games. They appear to have all this worked out and I was able to get back up and running very quickly. Note: The registration process of VorpX originally soured me to the product. Include things like: is it full VR (TRON 2.0, Portal 2) or is it 3D Cinema Mode (Horizon Zero Dawn, Witcher 3)? Does it remap the controllers proper to Touch or do you need to use a controller/KBM? Any gotchas? Did you have to mess with it or did it seem to work "out of box"? I would love for us in great "mega thread" tradition? Let's start dumping the games we've tried, the experience on Oculus Quest and offer each other tricks and tips. My initial experience was rather cathartic: If you look at the Supported Games List, you might get really excited to see games like Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Horizon Zero Dawn and metric-buttloads of your old favorites like Portal and TRON 2.0. In Stereo 3D for supported titles – almost as immersive as in full VR. Virtual 3D Cinema Mode Optionally you now can play third person games, strategy games, sports games etc. With full head tracking for most games and stereoscopic 3D for supported titles. Full VR Mode First person games are best played in Full VR Mode. Many features are specifically tailored towards VR for the best possible experience on your VR headset. vorpX – Virtual Reality 3D-driver and more vorpX let’s you play your favorite games on your PC VR headset. This isn't cheap - or free - and it isn't for the faint at heart - requires a better-than-min spec PC VR computer and Oculus Link (haven't got VD working yet). I've recently been interested in getting back into VorpX which is a 3D/VR "tool" that takes your non-3D and non-VR PC games.
